SUNDAY FEATURE:
THIS MAY BE THE LAST TIME – 90 mins
Director: Sterlin Harjo
In 1962, filmmaker Sterlin Harjo’s grandfather disappeared mysteriously in Sasakwa, Oklahoma, and as the Seminole community searched for him, its members sang ancient songs of faith and hope. Investigating the stories of these songs, this illuminating film takes us on an epic tour as we travel with the power of the music through Southwest America, slavery in the deep South, and as far away as the Scottish Highlands.
After the film, join us at the Soundpony (409 N Main St) for a FREE (21+) AFTERPARTY featuring live music from JorDan, Bitchcraft, Dead Shakes, Motherfolk, DJ Sweet Baby Jaysus, and DJ Save the Tiger.
